Drinking standing up
The evident prohibition in these ahadeeth acknowledge the prohibition of drinking whilst standing if you do not have an excuse.




From the manners of eating food
Saying ‘Bismillaah’ (in the name of Allaah) is done when you begin to eat, and that you do not add anything extra to that ‘Bismillaah’.




Not drinking from a cracked cup
The Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه وسلم)  forbade drinking from the cracked place on a cup.




Only saying Bismillaah when beginning food
The Sunnah regarding mentioning the name of Allaah when beginning food is to say, only بسم الله.
