Encouragement to fast the Day of ‘Aashoora
Whoever fasts the day of Arafat he is forgiven for the following year and the previous year. And whoever fasts ‘Aashoora then he is forgiven the year.




Increase in the recitation of the Qur’aan in Ramadaan
As for particularising the month of Ramadaan solely for the recitation of the Qur’aan to the exclusion of any other act of worship – then that has no basis.
